Ana María Velasco 

Ana Maria grew up between a Nicaragua (her mother’s homeland) undergoing the throes of a dictatorship and revolution, and a Colombia ravaged by narco-terrorism. These turbulent, yet inspiring environments heightened Ana Maria’s sense of social awareness and, early on, solidified her understanding that we can never obtain peace in the outer world until we make peace within ourselves. Ana Maria’s undergraduate studies are in International Business at Universidad Javeriana de Cali Colombia. She holds and MFA from The School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University in Boston. She is an Ayurvedic nutritionist coach from the Bioticare Holistic Center and a Certified Yoga teacher from Jivamukti and OM Yoga Schools in NYC. Ana Maria Initiated Yoga programs to facilitate reconciliation for ex-combatants and victims (all ages) of armed conflict; coordinated investigation on the use of yoga as a form of trauma healing; Combining basic elements of yoga & meditation within the established methodology of the existing foundations in Colombia (Fundacion para la Reconcilicaion, Tecnovo) and USA (Creedmoor Addiction Center NYC and Roca in Boston). Ana Maria is a founding student of the NYC Tibetan Art studio. Her artwork has been exhibited in Europe, South America and USA. She lives and works between Cali and New York City where she continues to teach Yoga, Meditation and Art.

Marcella Echavarría 

For over ten years, Marcella has used her passion for art, design, culture, craft, and sustainable development to create a better world by linking developing communities to developed markets. Through SURevolution and her work for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Grassroots Business Fund, ITC and the Royal Government of Cambodia, UNESCO, USAID, Technoserve Swaziland, the West African Trade Hub and the Organization of American States, she has worked on branding, marketing, product development and market linkages with artisans and entrepreneurs all over the world to preserve their craft and enhance profitability.
She is certified nutrition health coach and practices kundalini yoga.  She is based in New York City and travels all over the world as a consultant, writer and photographer for different publications such as Hand Eye Magazine, Indagare, Daily Candy, Semana, and ED among others.

Camila Rivera 

Camila holds a BSc in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and an MA in International Development from SAIS, Johns Hopkins University.

She worked for more than seven years in high responsibility positions, mainly in the Colombian government. She has been responsible for the design and implementation of policies, strategies and programs to deliver pertinent education services to diverse and vulnerable population groups, mainly ethnic communities IDP’s, excombatant children, children with disabilities and illiterate adults. She has also served as the official liaison of the Colombian government with other countries and multilateral agencies for international cooperation. Currently, she teaches yoga in Bogotá, works with sound healing and makes music for children of all ages

Jackie Granados 

Jackie Granados is an attorney who practices law in the State of New York. She attended Suffolk Law School where she obtained her juris doctor degree and Boston University School of Law where she obtained a masters in finance and banking law. She is also licensed to practice law in Colombia. She has represented large financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies in various financial transactions. Whenever possible she does volunteer work and devotes some of her time to do probono legal work.
